My Story
Hi, I'm so happy you're here!
This small town, living in a big city now, girl, is over the moon that you've stopped by to see what I'm all about.
Admittedly, becoming an author was never at the top of my list of things I wanted to accomplish, but what's funny is that is probably the exact reason why I find myself now having published my debut novel. You see, I was notorious for starting projects and never finishing them. I tend to have grand ideas but no follow-through. However, after my late father's passing, I felt a calling to challenge myself in a new way and channel my inner creative into something concrete. I was a little lost, not knowing what I wanted to do when an email from an alumni group sparked an idea. I wanted to write a story. I didn't know what it would turn into, but as an avid reader of the thriller genre, I told myself I would try my hand at writing and commit to finishing a novel.
A year and a few months later, I'm now so excited to say that I've done more than just finish a story, I've created a story, designed the cover, and published my first novel all on my own.
I've found peace within myself and solace behind the keyboard. I find comfort in that my father liked to write and through this project, I can continue to connect with him even though he is not physically with us on this earth.
If you're still with me, some fun facts about me:
I grew up in Connecticut and am a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut.
I moved to Atlanta in 2011 to pursue a Master's degree and worked in the sports industry prior to moving into marketing and events full-time.
I am constantly on the hunt for the best Lavender Latte.
I love to travel and visit family back in New England.
I love live music and will travel for a concert. It's my "thing" as someone once told me.
Thank you for joining me on this journey! I can't wait to connect with you!
